SENNHEISER HD 820
With an innovative design, HD 820, dynamic and closed headphones, music lovers can now enjoy great sound, at an audiophile level, at home or on the go. The cups are covered with glass to minimize resonances but also to make the transducers more visible. The HD 820 push the limits of closed-back headphones in transparent sound reproduction.
The HD 820 headphones use innovative technology to deliver clear and transparent sound. Developed and manufactured in Germany, they offer an incredibly realistic and natural sound field and stand out with extraordinary attention to detail. The comfortable and soft microfiber cushions are handcrafted, providing excellent attenuation of ambient noise and the sturdy metal support band includes an internal cushioning element. This results in an unparalleled listening experience.
The revolutionary performance of the HD 820 headphones has been achieved through a special innovation: the legendary Sennheiser Ring Radiator transducers are provided with unique glass shells. Revealing the extraordinary aspect of the technical component inside, this feature was actually developed to clarify the sound: The concave glass reflects the sound waves from the back of the transducer to an absorber, which results in minimal resonance. Thus, the sound waves are effectively "dispersed" like open headphones.
