- The new entry-level Audio-Technica range.
- Elliptical needle (7.6 x 17.8 microns) - solid (Rounded Nude Shank) / aluminum suspension.
- This is the third model in the range, equipped with a massive elliptical needle. The suspension is made of aluminum. The needle has an average lifespan of about 300 hours.
- The case is intended as an upgrade for the AT-95 series models (AT95 and AT95EX). Unlike the AT-VM95E, which has a diamond-tipped needle bonded to a titanium body, the AT-VM95E has a needle made of solid diamond. The cost is higher, but the frequency response is better, especially in the field of high frequencies and transients.
