    Where the TV goes no longer depends on the wall

    The PMX700 brings TVs up to 100″ as far as 79.5 cm forward and can centre them on the wall even when the studs are off-centre.

    The PMX700 belongs to Kanto's Pro Series: a solid steel frame with two articulating arms that holds up to 68 kg even at full extension. The arm assembly offsets 27.9 cm to the left or right, so the TV ends up centred on the wall wherever the studs are. Folded, the mount keeps the TV 6.6 cm from the wall; extended, it brings it out to 79.5 cm, enough to reach over a fireplace or out of an alcove.

    Kanto's technical drawing shows the 79.5 cm extension, the 82.3 cm wall plate and the TV brackets, which cover VESA hole patterns from 200 × 100 to 700 × 500. The plate takes two wood studs up to 24″ apart.

    Toolless adjustment, hidden installation

    The tilt mechanism needs no tools: the TV tilts 12° forward or 3° back. The arms swivel up to 90° in either direction, depending on screen size, and aluminium covers hide the wall plate and any sign of installation.

    Out and back in seconds

    The silent clip from Kanto's official walkthrough shows the TV pulled forward on the PMX700 arms and pushed back against the wall. Cable raceways under the arms keep the area around the TV tidy.

    Frequently asked questions

    Which TVs fit?

    TVs with a VESA pattern between 200 × 100 and 700 × 500 that weigh no more than 68 kg. Kanto presents the PMX700 for TVs up to 100″.

    My studs are not in the middle of the wall. Can the TV be centred?

    Yes. The arm assembly offsets 27.9 cm to the left or right (55.8 cm in total), so the TV can be centred without moving the fixing points.

    What kind of wall can it go on?

    Kanto supplies hardware for wood studs and for concrete. The manual requires a wall that supports more than 5 times the combined weight of the TV and the mount, and states that the mount must not be installed on steel stud walls or cinder block walls. If you are unsure about your wall, consult an installer.
