ATR6550x

The ATR6550x microphone offers an intelligible, clear reception, regardless of the distance. A switch on the microphone body allows easy switching between "Wide" and "Far" settings. In the "Wide" setting, suitable for short pickup distances, the ATR6550x works like a regular cardioid condenser microphone, focusing pickup on the desired sound source while blocking sound from the sides and back. Switching to the "Beacon" setting causes the polar shape to narrow to supercardioid, providing improved directivity to pick up sound from a distance, while canceling ambient noise such as traffic, echo and mechanical vibrations.
