    Discover the Mu-so 2nd Generation, the successor to the highly awarded initial NAIM Mu-so model, but completely redesigned, both in terms of performance, functions and ease of use - all developed by NAIM experts in Salisbury, UK.

    After 45 years of experience in the Hi-Fi field and going in the direction of adopting modern streaming services, NAIM engineers (together with FOCAL engineers) have developed an All-In-One system capable of playing resolutions up to 32bit , multiroom streaming, sound for a state-of-the-art TV at a quality you expect exclusively from a classic hi-fi system.

    The new NAIM streaming platform

    One of the strengths of the NAIM Mu-so system is the NAIM streaming platform developed over the last 3 years by approximately 25 dedicated engineers, determined to offer the best performance both for the situation in which you play your own digital content or the multitude of Internet Radio sources or streaming services such as TIDAL or Spotify.

    DSP system - YES, it makes a difference!

    The completely new multicore Digital Signal Processor (DSP) system brings extremely many benefits on the quality side, namely 2000 MIPS (Million Instructions Per Second) compared to the original Mu-so single-core, 150MIPS DSP.

    Also, a new limitation algorithm was used that protects each of the new generation speakers of Mu-so speakers, so that their movement does not exceed the designed limits and tolerances. The limiter intervenes only at high volume and has the effect of preserving the sound quality and extending the speaker's life.

    Mu-so 2nd Generation brings an amplification power of 450 Watts to improve and optimize the sound played.
    Both the engineers from NAIM were responsible for the results obtained, but the effort and sound imprint from FOCAL can also be heard.

    The super-intuitive system that, we at AudioMonkey, recognize will be "addictive" - ​​you can't walk past him without "waking" him up and checking his attention with a little spin, :).

    So, you have 15 zones where you can change the sources, go to the next song, pause or even pairing for bluetooth devices.

    The control area is illuminated and has a proximity sensor that reacts when you approach the control unit with your hand.

    Aluminum on the surface - a wooden acoustic enclosure on the inside.
    Compared to the previous model, the color of the aluminum finish is darker and, we say, with a more premium and refined appearance.

    In terms of shape, on the outside, it can be said that it looks similar, but on the inside, the Mu-so 2nd Generation active speaker has most of the upgraded components to improve the sound performance.

    The design of the premises has been completely redone. Thus, we have 13% more space inside, space that stands out through an increased bass level, better rigidity and, implicitly, much less vibrations.

    The defining element of this speaker - the aluminum fins with the role of passive temperature radiators are also maintained for the new model, brilliantly fulfilling their cooling role for the entire system.

    Mu-so 2nd Generation comes with optional grills in new colors. In addition to the standard grid, grids can be purchased in three other spectacular colors - Olive, Terracotta and Peacock - you decide the matching with the rest of the design!
