      Larger speakers, closer to ear level

      SP6HD lifts each speaker 15.2 cm off the desk, bringing it closer to ear level. Steel stands for midsize and larger bookshelf speakers, sold as a pair.

      Kanto designed SP6HD for midsize and larger bookshelf speakers. Raised by 15.2 cm, the tweeters come closer to ear level for clearer nearfield listening. Heavy steel and closed-cell foam padding limit the resonance passed into the work surface, rotating top plates let you aim each speaker at the listening position, and hollow columns keep cables out of sight.

      Two top plates to choose from

      The box holds four top plates, two per stand, in two sizes: 11 × 18 cm and 17.8 × 17.8 cm. Pick the one that matches the speaker's base, then rotate it so the speaker faces your listening position. Compatible speakers are secured from below with the supplied 1/4"-20 screw.

      Less vibration, hidden cables

      Heavy steel and closed-cell foam on the base limit the resonance that would reach the desk. Power and speaker cables run through each stand's hollow column, keeping the desktop tidy.

      Which top plates do I get?

      Four plates, two per stand, in two sizes: 11 × 18 cm and 17.8 × 17.8 cm. Use the one that suits your speaker's base.

      How is the speaker secured?

      Speakers with a 1/4"-20 thread underneath are fixed with one of the 2 supplied screws; for others, the top plate serves as the resting surface.

      SP6HD or SP9?

      SP6HD is 15.2 cm tall and designed for midsize and larger bookshelf speakers; SP9 is 21 cm tall and designed for small and midsize desktop speakers. Both carry 13.6 kg per stand.
